SEAWORTHY/JACRIM/KEYSTONE

The Seaworthy/Jacrim boats were made by Chester Rimmer, a naval architect graduate of MIT in 1921. He formed the Jacrim Hollow Boat Company in the 1920s with the partnership of Arthur Jackson. They merged their boat making company with the Keystone Toy Company of Boston, MA in the 1938. The Seaworthy/Jacrim logo was discontinued and Keystone begain making boats under the Keystone name.

These handsome pond boats have the graceful lines of the 1930s America's Cup racers. They were manufactured in Boston and sold by various toy companies and catalog sales companies. These boats making them great display pieces. Made in the USA.

    about me

I have been restoring small wooden pond boats since 2009. I strive to maintain the vintage elements of the boat that were created by the original maker. I am a one person shop, but I have found ways to reproduce antique fittings and I take pride in the sails that I make by hand. I work slowly and carefully.

    Sincerely.
